My name is Elizabeth Conrad and I started Viv's Give.

I have a 21 month old named Vivienne.  Before I had her, I never realized the cost of having a child.  I would be in awe of the prices of diapers and the amount we would go through in a day. I felt like I was always going to the store to buy diapers and formula. My husband and I both work full time and still felt the dent in our finances.  I would go online and constantly look if someone was selling baby items for a few dollars or leftover diapers for sale.

One day, on a social media site, I saw a post from a woman that was in a shelter and she was reaching out for diapers and food. She stated it had to be a donation because she was in a shelter.  What then struck me is that nobody had replied to her in twenty four hours. I replied and stated talking with her and she told me what she needed. A friend of mine then saw the post as well and she wanted to help also. We got together and purchased food and diapers for this woman and delivered it.

The moment I saw this woman and the baby and how grateful they were, something clicked.  I thought, "Imagine being a homeless mother and needing overpriced diapers." The next day, Viv's Give began to take form.  I know my mission is what we need to continue to do.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
